Feeling overwhelmed by your mental illness? You’re not alone. Our supportive online community gathers three times a week on Zoom, offering a safe space to connect with others who understand the challenges and triumphs of mental illness.
We share experiences, learn coping mechanisms, and find encouragement from peers as you navigate your journey towards emotional wellness.

Who Can Join
- Men and women aged 18+.
- Individuals with various mental health conditions.
- Group size is limited to 15 people.
Mental health support groups have provided Steve Wilson with a safe and understanding space to share his experiences and connect with others who have faced similar challenges.
Through these groups, he has learned valuable coping mechanisms and strategies he now shares with others as an experienced mental health support group facilitator.
What to expect:
Inclusive & Safe Environment
No religion or politics discussed.
Recordings are strictly prohibited.
Facilitator-Led Discussion
Topics are introduced by the facilitator, and participants share their experiences using “I” statements.
Supportive Community
Connect with others facing similar challenges.
Advice is not given, but open communication is encouraged.
Respectful Boundaries
Professionals are not allowed to participate. Sharing personal details beyond first name and email is not required.
Flexible Options
Groups meet online via Zoom for 2 hours, Sunday, 4 to 6 pm, Tuesday, 7 pm to 9 pm and Thursday, 7 pm to 9 pm, Arizona time.
About Our Facilitator, Steve Wilson
- Facilitator has 10 years experience.
- No vetting of participants’ diagnoses occurs.
- Members can connect with each other outside of the group.

About Steve Wilson’s Journey
Steve Wilson is the author of “Teetering on a Tightrope, My Bipolar Journey” who experienced a traumatic event as a child, and has faced challenges with mental health throughout his life.
Diagnosed with bipolar disorder in his early twenties, he has also grappled with depression and anxiety since his teenage years. Through his personal journey, Steve has developed a deep understanding of the issues facing young people and adults, and he brings extensive experience to his volunteer work facilitating mental health support groups
